A few days ago we went for a nice walk in the neighbourhood which we haven’t done in a long time. It was a beautiful fall day so we thought of walking along the trail not far from our house.
The trail eventually leads to a walkway under the bridge with a nice view of the river.
Going further down the path surely made it feel like we were walking along someone’s farm.
There were even some remains of an old burnt barn, or what’s left of it.
I’m glad we went out for a walk. It was definitely one of those perfect days.
After visiting Hermès Man on Madison, naturally we had to cross the street and pay a visit to the Hermès mothership.
I was curious to know what they did to the lower level that used to house the men’s section. I found out the entire floor was dedicated to leather. There’s even a workshop area where a Parisian-trained craftsman is available for clients bringing their bags and leather goods for servicing like restoration, repair, or personalization.
Since I wasn’t able to take pictures inside, I took a few snapshots of the window displays.
On our way out, we stopped by the perfume counter and asked to see some of their perfume sets. They only had a few but we were happy to see they have Eau d’Orange Verte , one of our favourite scents. What can I say? Right away, we knew we had to get it. And it’s not just because of the perfume.
We thought what came in the set was a good combination at a really great price point. But that’s not what really sealed the deal.
It was this.
What is it you ask? Go ahead. Play the slideshow.
It’s a retractable funnel. Is this clever or what?
So tell me, how could I not get this? I rest my case.
