After visiting Hermès Man on Madison, naturally we had to cross the street and pay a visit to the Hermès mothership.
I was curious to know what they did to the lower level that used to house the men’s section. I found out the entire floor was dedicated to leather. There’s even a workshop area where a Parisian-trained craftsman is available for clients bringing their bags and leather goods for servicing like restoration, repair, or personalization.
Since I wasn’t able to take pictures inside, I took a few snapshots of the window displays.
On our way out, we stopped by the perfume counter and asked to see some of their perfume sets. They only had a few but we were happy to see they have Eau d’Orange Verte , one of our favourite scents. What can I say? Right away, we knew we had to get it. And it’s not just because of the perfume.
We thought what came in the set was a good combination at a really great price point. But that’s not what really sealed the deal.
It was this.
What is it you ask? Go ahead. Play the slideshow.
It’s a retractable funnel. Is this clever or what?
So tell me, how could I not get this? I rest my case.

I like the cushions! What are they? (Sorry for my poor English, I’ m Italian!)
Hi Matteo! The cushions in the background were made in Belgian linen and I got them from a store called Restoration Hardware.
Thank you for answering so fast… I like so much Cheval d’ orient plates and Hermès fragrances!
I like them a lot too. Unfortunately, I can only afford a few pieces at a time.
