I finally got my hands on the fall-winter 2010 issue of Le Monde d’Hermès and the cover is certainly striking.
This issue is black.
Because black throws colour into relief.
Because the black of the night is the perfect setting for dreams and mystery.
Because it is where great adventures begin.
A deep night from which we can draw the energy
to keep renewing ourselves.
For Jean-Louis Dumas, that permanent inventiveness lay at
the very heart of Hermès.
The intricate illustrations on the front and back covers including the font were printed in shimmering gold against a matte black background. It is definitely a gorgeous cover. Flipping through the pages, there were a number of interesting articles to read but before that, of course I had to look at the photos in greater detail and show you some that I like.

What are those sort of scarves for men? where can I find them? (sorry for my Italian-English… it must be so poor!)
Hi Matteo, no worries. Your Italian-English is OK.
You can probably find some of these scarves from your local Hermès store but they may not have the same colour, style or design. Some of their scarves will work for men but they do have scarves, losanges and ties that are designed for men.
And do you know where can I find them on the website, if I can?

You can get the latest issue for free in any Hermès store. However, if you’re looking for old issues, you can try eBay.
