Last Wednesday, I was so glad to finally get home as I had a really busy and hectic day. Imagine my surprise when just as I was getting in to the house, Mr. Postman came and delivered this package.

It was exciting to finally receive the package my good friend Uyen-Chi sent all the way from Prague. She’s a fellow Canadian who is currently living in Prague with her family. She knows one of the countries I would love to visit someday is the Czech Republic. Since I wouldn’t be going there anytime soon, Uyen-Chi decided to send me a wonderful surprise!

And the book — it’s filled with amazing pictures of Prague, the Golden City known as the Rome of the North. I love travel books especially the ones that have lots of pictures.

There’s more! Oh yeah, there’s more. Chocolates. Lots of it that came in the package! Milk, dark and white chocolates with fruit and nuts. Apparently these Studentská chocolates are a Czech favourite. They’re so good I have to make sure I ration them. I have to hide them too ‘coz the Golem of Prague might have followed the package all the way here.
