Lunchtime Craving: Ramen

I’m cold, cold cold… and hungry! I need a nice bowl of ramen noodles.

This one with curry?

Or this one with some delicious fatty pork?

Or maybe this one with fried egg and nori?

The best ramen we’ve had was the third one which was from a small ramen place in Kyoto.  It was lovingly made by this sweet old lady’s husband. While waiting, she entertained us and also provided directions to nearby places of interest. I hope when I grow old I will continue to be happy and content like her.

It was lovely to meet you.

Why isn’t there a good ramen noodle place in Edmonton? Or is there?

Does anybody know? Please do tell!

I’m starving.

The noddles look so GOOD! I really enjoyed eating in noodle shops in Kyoto…

Me too. I wish there’s one here in Edmonton. The only authentic ramen place I found so far is in Vancouver.

Ernie, the ramen looks so delicious and comforting, perfect for our weather! As for e-town ramen places, have you tried Tokyo Noodle House on Whyte Ave? The pork ramen is quite tasty, the broth is good and the noodles are nice and chewy.

Thanks Judy for the recommendation. Will definitely have to try that place soon. I still need to satisfy my craving.
