Most of my time in Vancouver was spent on work since I went there for a business trip after all. Of course, all work and no play makes me a dull boy so my good friend Deb offered to meet me for dinner and a stroll around downtown since it was a beautiful day.
Since I’m in Vancouver I had to pay a visit to one of my favourite interior showrooms, Inform Interiors.
We were getting hungry so I told Deb I was craving for some sushi and sashimi. Right away she knew where to take me. Her favourite Japanese place, Ichiban-Ya Sushi.
I pretty much devoured the whole bento. Good thing I was hungry since it was a lot of food. After dinner, we took a stroll around the famous Robson Street.
We went to a number of stores and boutiques around the area but Deb mentioned a nice bike they have in Club Monaco. I said what? Bike? In Club Monaco? I had to see this one for myself.
It’s the Royal Gazelle Dutch Bicycle made exclusively for Club Monaco. Unfortunately, with a price tag of over $1,000 I had to leave it behind. Besides, I’m sure this will count as “excess” baggage!
Anyway, it turned out to be a great window shopping night… certainly a cheap one too!
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s last installment!
